Utah Warriors Signs Fraser Hurst

The Utah Warriors signed Fraser Hurst for the 2021 Major League Rugby season. The 23-year-old scrumhalf is 5’10” and 185 lbs.

Fraser is from Vancouver, British Columbia, and attended St. George’s School from 2009-2015. While in school, the team became BC High sChool Champions. In 2014 he represented British Columbia at the Las Vegas Invitational in sevens.

Fraser was selected to the Rugby Canada U18s tour of Ireland in 2016 and in 2017 played with the U20s in the World Rugby Trophy competition.

Fraser attended the University of British Columbia and played rugby from 2016-2020. He projects graduating in 2021 with a Bachelor of Liberal Studies Degree with an emphasis in Sociology and Urban Land Economics.

In 2018 he played representative rugby for the Vancouver RU against Victoria Island.

Fraser is currently in Christchurch, New Zealand, and gaining additional rugby experience playing for Marist Albion, as well as for the Canterbury Provincial U18s.
