Rugby ATL drafted John Scotti with the 20th selection in the Major League Rugby Collegiate Draft. The 22-year-old center/wing is 5’8″ and 190 lbs.
John is from Ormond Beach, Florida. At Seabreeze High School he was a multi-sport athlete playing football, weightlifting, wrestling, and rugby. He began playing rugby in his junior year of High School and following his graduation. He was a linebacker, nose tackle, and fullback at Seabreeze. in 2016, he pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government at Arkansas State through 2020. He also was a member of the Red Wolves Rugby team.
