A late addition to the San Diego Legion 2020 roster was Luatangi Li. He did not make any appearances for the team in 2020, but should be a welcome addition for the team in 2021.
Lua as he prefers to be called is a 29-year-old prop from Auckland, New Zealand. He attended Massey High School and was a member of the New Zealand police force. He played club rugby for the East Coast Boys and Mitre 10 Cup since 2018 with North Harbour where he made 17 appearances. He also played for the Super Rugby Blues club in 2019, making 4 appearances.
Adding an experienced prop who can play both loosehead and tighthead provides a team with flexibility during matches. His leadership should make the Legion an even stronger team.
