NOLA Gold host Western Conference leader San Diego Legion at the Shrine on Airline at 4 pm ET on Saturday, February 29. For those who can’t attend, the match is being streamed on ESPN+ and for international viewers on Major League Rugby Facebook Live.
NOLA Gold is in second place in the Eastern Conference with a 2-1 record and 10 points in the standings after a win over Old Glory DC, a lost to Rugby ATL, and a win over Colorado Raptors.
San Diego Legion top the Western Conference standings with a 3-0 record and have 15 points after bonus-point wins over the Seattle Seawolves, the Colorado Raptors, and New England Free Jacks.

NOLA Gold Head Coach Nate Osborne has made three changes in the starters with Nikola Bursic at flanker, Scott Gale at scrumhalf, and JP Eloff playing for the first time this season at fullback.
To accommodate these changes, Kyle Baillie switched from flanker to lock. Holden Yungert moved to the reserves, Tim Maupin from the outside center to wing, and Carl Meyer from fullback to outside center.
John Sullivan returns to the matchday 23, while Nick Feakes visa is in place and he will likely see his first action of the season from the reserves.
Julian Dominguez was selected for the Week Three All-MLR First Team.

Legion Head Coach Rob Hoadley has made five changes in the starters with Peter Malcolm, Ben Mitchell, Keni Nasoqeqe, Deveraux Ferris, and Joe Pietersen starting for the first time this season.
Lou Stanfill and Josh Thiel also join the matchday 23 in the reserves.
