Old Glory DC John Davis 2020 Profile

Old Glory DC listed John Davis in the team’s 2020 Media Guide. The 27-year-old center is 5’11” and 190 lbs.

John is from College Park, Maryland and played rugby at Gonzaga College High School from 2006-2010. The team was one of the leading teams in the country and contended to National Championships.

John attended the University of Maryland from 2010-2014, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. He was a first-team All-Atlantic Cup selection, helped the team advance to Sweet 16 D1-AA round in 2011 and in 2012, and played in the Collegiate Rugby Championship. 

He is an inside center for the Potomac Exiles and has played representative rugby with the Capital Selects. In July he was the vice-captain for the team that traveled to play the Mexican National Team.

John also played in the 2019 exhibition season for Old Glory DC. He helped the team win their first match against USA Rugby South and was on the roster against the Ontario Blues.
