Seattle Seawolves will face the current Mitre 10 Cup victors, the Tasman Mako, in a Clash of the 2019 Champions on January 26 at 7:30 pm PT at Starfire Sports Stadium in Tukwila. The match will not be streamed.
This will be the Seawolves’ final pre-season match ahead of the Major League Rugby regular season in two weeks. The Tasman Mako’s touring side is largely a development side. They defeated the Houston SaberCats 29-19 last week.
Seattle Seawolves head coach Kees Lensing has made two changes in his starters from the win against the Vancouver Island Crimson Tide. Djustice Sears-Duru is the loosehead prop and Vili Toluta’u is at flanker.
Andrew Durutalo was announced last night as joining the team and should see action from the reserves along with FP Pelser.
