The IWRF 2019 Wheelchair Rugby Americas Championship was held August 23-27 in Lima, Peru as part of the Lima 2019 Para Pan American Games.
This tournament featured six counties, the USA, Canada, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, and Chile, with the top finisher qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics. The remaining team’s performance may result in an invitation to the last Tokyo 2020 qualifying tournament to be held early next year.

In Pool play, the USA finished with a 5-0 record, with Canada second at 4-1, Brazil 3-2, Colombia 2-3, Argentina 1-4, and Chile 0-5.
The led to semifinal matches where Canada defeated Brazil and the USA winning against Colombia. Argentina then beat Chile for 5th place. In the Bronze final, Colombia defeated Brazil and in the Gold final the USA defeated Canada.
