Toronto Arrows Announce Round One of 2020 Signings

TORONTO, ON – The Toronto Arrows have begun their roster assembly ahead of the 2020 Major League Rugby season by announcing their first group of players to ink 2020 agreements.

The core of the 2019 league semi-finalists is expected to return for the upcoming season, and discussions remain ongoing with a handful of new faces looking to bolster the Arrows quiver.

The following players have re-signed with the club:

“We are obviously very excited with the new players coming on board, and happy to have many the core guys back from last year’s playoff team,” said Arrows Vice President and General Manager Mark Winokur. “While we were satisfied with our first season in the league, we know we have to get better. One of the key areas we’ve identified for improvement is to make sure we have greater depth and strength at every position so that our guys can manage the heavy workloads that come with a long season.”

“Bringing in quality guys in key areas is so important to ensuring we’re competitive throughout the entire season, but making sure these players fit into our strong and unique club culture is also a vital part of our roster composition process.”

Eight of the initial crop of Arrows signees have national team experience, with the group combining for 228 senior test caps.
