Under the close guidance of Head Coach Emil Walton, Coach Harris will also help establish and develop a University of Louisville Woman’s Rugby team.

Coach Harris brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with her. She started her rugby career at Erindale High School, where she was selected for the Indiana High School All-Star Team and Midwest under 19 Select Side (2008 – 2010). She continued to play Rugby at Penn State, where she was selected for the USA All-American team in 2012 and 2013. Coach Kelsey Harris shared “I am so excited to join the University of Louisville Men’s Rugby team as the New Player Development Assistant Coach. It is a great opportunity for me to continue to develop as a coach but also Coach Walton, and the rest of the coaching staff, have created a playing culture I deeply admire. The team is in an excellent position for success regionally and nationally so I am looking forward to being able to contribute to future wins. This new role offers me a chance to grow interested in the sport of rugby in the state of Kentucky, not just at the collegiate level, but the high school and youth level as well. I am looking forward to the challenges to come.”
