The New England Free Jacks have signed Peter Haxton for their exhibition season. The 28-year-old loosehead prop is 5’10” and 270 lbs.
Peter is from Woburn, Massachusetts and attended St. John’s Preparatory School. He played football and also rugby there along with USA Men’s Eagles and Rugby United New York player, Nate Brakeley. Following his graduation, he attended Bucknell University from 2009-2013, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. He played rugby with the team, was the team’s President, and was the Intermural Sports Coordinator at Bucknell.
Peter is employed as an engineer at Vention Medical Advanced Components Advanced Polymers and has played rugby with Mystic River Rugby Club since 2013. He played in exhibition season matches with the Boston Mystics and with the Free Jacks against Rugby United New York and against the Utah Warriors.
