New England Free Jacks signed Michael Armstrong for the 2018-2019 season. The 30-year-old wing is 5’11” and 200 lbs.
Spike is from Nashua, New Hampshire and graduated from Nashua High School. He attended Plymouth State University and played rugby while there and since then has played with Mystic River Rugby Club. While with Mystic River the team has won two USA Club Rugby Division 1 Championships.
Spike played for the Boston Mystics in 2018 and for the New England, Free Jacks in exhibition season matches against the Ontario Arrows in 2018 and against the Utah Warriors in 2019.
