New England Free Jacks Mike Gieselman

The New England Free Jacks added Mike Gieselman for the 2019 exhibition season. The 23-year-old flanker is 6’2″ and 220 lbs.

Mike is from Commerce Township, Michigan. He attended Walled Lake Northern High School and played football and lacrosse. Following his graduation, he attended Michigan State from 2014-18, earning a Degree in Marketing. At Michigan State, he was Academic All-American in 2017-2018 and played Rugby, as well as involved in the Weightlifting Association.

Mike was selected to the AIG Men’s Collegiate All-American Identification Camp in Chula Vista in 2018. he was also selected, but unavailable for Legacy Rugby College All-Star squad which played the Ohio College All-Stars in 2017.

Mike played club rugby with the Detroit Tradesmen 2018 and then joined the NE Free Jacks in 2019. He played for the Free Jacks against the Utah Warriors and Conancht Eagles.
