New England Free Jacks Jackson Thiebes

The New England Free Jacks have added  Jackson Thiebes for the 2018-2019 exhibition season. The 25-year-old lock is 6’5″ and 255 lbs.

Jackson attended Glacier High School in Kalispell, Montana. He earned two varsity letters in football and following his graduation attended Lewis & Clark College in 2012. He then transferred to the University of Montana, attending from 2013-2017. He continued to play football, played rugby, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology.

Jackson has felt a need to contribute back to the community. He was a Big Brother in the Big Brothers of Sisters of America and also volunteered for the Habitat of Humanity International.

Following his graduation from Montana, he attended Endicott College for an MBA. He also played rugby and helped the team gain the #1 NSCRO 2018 ranking. He participated in the NSCRO Men’s 15s All-Star Championship, was selected to the All-Championship team and was named the Impact Player from the Northeast. jackson is also the first person from Endicott College to sign a professional sports contract.

jackson also is a member of the Mystic River Rugby Club and helped the team to the USA Club Rugby 7s Nationals.

Jackson is expected to be a key contributor for the Free Jacks in 2019. Look for him to be a target in the lineouts, as well as at the breakdowns.
