The Toronto Arrows have added former Canada international Andrew Wilson for the 2019 Major League Rugby season. The 33-year-old back row is 5’11” and 200 lbs.
Andrew attended Nelson High School from 1999-2003 and began playing rugby while in school. He then attended Humber College from 2003-2004 and then Everest College from 2009-2010, earning a diploma in Computer Science & Engineering. He also attended AXELOS for Prince 2 Foundations & Practioner, Project Management credentials.
Andrew played with the Oakville Crusaders, the Ontario Blues, and with the Ontario Arrows during their 2018 exhibition season. He also has earned one cap for Canada against the USA on June 21, 2008 and also played for the Canada Under-21s. Andrew also played in Scotland in 2007, just below the professional level.
Andrew’s experience should be valuable as he joins the team for it’s 2019 away match against the Seattle Seawolves.
