The Utah Warriors signed Simon Quickfall for the 2019 Major League Rugby season. The 24-year-old scrumhalf is 5’8″ and 180 lbs.
Simon is from Auckland, New Zealand and attended Westlake Boys’ High School. In 2012 he toured Canada, Hawaii & America with the school. He is attending Auckland University of Technology with a double major in finance and accounting.
Simon played for Northcote RFC from 2013-2018. The Under-21s won the championship in 2013, where he played both wing and scrumhalf. By the 2016-2017 season, he played for the Northcote Premier side. In 2016, he also played with the North Harbour Sevens and was named as the Sevens Player of the Year for Northcote.
In 2018 he transferred to the Arrowtown Bulls and played center and scrumhalf, as the team won the White Horse Cup in Central Otago Premier Rugby.
