- The Glendale Raptors have added Raymond Henley for the 2019 Major League Rugby season. The 27-year-old hooker is 5’7″ and 200 lbs.
- Ray is from Norco, California. He attended Norco Senior High school and played football for the Cougars. He then attended Riverside Community College in 2011-2012 and also played football. From 2013-2016, he attended New Mexico Highlands University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation & Sports Management. He is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Sports & Exercise at the same institution.
- While at NMHU he played football and rugby for the Vatos. The team won the 2015 and 2016 NSCRO Sevens Championship. He also played with the Denver Barbarians in the Summer on the Seven’s team and upon graduation, played 15s. During the Fall 2018 season, Ray played for the Glendale Raptors during the Fall 2018 exhibition season and has signed with the team for 2019.
