Seattle Seawolves Adds Scott Dean

The Seattle Seawolves signed former Central Washington Wildcat and U20’s All-American, Scott Dean for the 2019 Major League Rugby season. The 23-year-old flyhalf is 6’0″ and 210 lbs.

Scott is from Renton, Washington and began his rugby career began at 13, playing for the Liberty Rugby Club through his senior year of high school. In 2012 he traveled with the USA Rugby High School All-Americans to England and Wales.

Scott then attended Central Washington University where he played 7s and 15s for the Wildcats from 2013-2018. Scott graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Supply Chain Management.

Scott continued playing international rugby with the USA U20’s All-Americans in 2014 and 2015 and in the 2016 tour to Queensland, Australia. He also played for Hawkes Bay Academy of Napier, New Zealand in 2017.

After graduating, Scott joined the Seattle Saracens and his distribution skills at flyhalf make him an asset to the team for 2019.
