Utah Warriors Adds Nolan Tuamoheloa

Utah Warriors signed Nolan Tuamoheloa to the team for the 2019 Major League Rugby season. he just turned 20-years-old, the youngest player on the team. He is 6’0″ and 190 lbs.

Nolan is from Iliili, American Samoa and spent time living in Hawaii. He played rugby while in American Samoa and in Hawaii before moving to Utah to pursue ‘better’ opportunities. He attended Northridge High School in Layton, Utah, playing volleyball, football and graduating in 2017. He also played rugby with Koa Toa Rugby Club.

Nolan represented the Utah Youth Rugby All-Stars at the Rosslyn Park 7s in London, playing with the Utah Cannibals Under-18s. He has also played with Utah in Canada, at the Rocky Mountain Challenge in Colorado, and at the 2017 Penn Mutual High School Sevens Championship. At the Rocky Mountain Challenge, he was named to the All-Tournament Varsity team in 2016. He played both 7s and 15s with the Utah Cannibals and were the 2016 Under-18s Champions at the Las Vegas Invitational.

On December 22, 2018 Utah Warriors Head Coach Alf Daniels Coach and new Warrior Nolan Tuamoheloa visited Kutv Studios for an interview on Talkin Sports.

Nolan played in the Warriors preseason scrimmage 25-10 win over Life West at Zions Bank Field House on January 12, 2019. With a 16 match regular season Nolan will see playing time as he continues to develop as a player.
