San Diego Legion signed Fijian wing Savenaca Totovosau for the 2019 Major League Rugby season. He is 22-years-old, 6’2″, and 215 lbs.
Savenaca is from Lautoka, Fiji and attended Marist Brothers’ High School and Fiji National University where he studied information technology networking. While in high school, he earned a bronze medal in the shot put and played in 2019 for the Under-19s.
Savenaca is married with two daughters, so playing professionally provides the economic support for his family.
During 2018 he played with the Easts Tigers in Brisbane, Australia. He is described as a player who is fast, has the ability to break tackles and is a proven try scorer.
Savenaca signed with the San Diego Legion for 2019 and should be an offensive force with the team.
