Toronto Arrows & Josh Van Horne

The Toronto Arrows signed Josh Van Horne for the 2019 Major League Rugby season. Josh is from Hespeler, Ontario, is 28-years-old, 6’5″, 255 pounds and plays lock. He is also a firefighter for the City of Brantford.

Josh attended the Jacob Hespeler Secondary  School from 2004-2009 and then went to the University of Guelph from 2009-2013, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Sociology. While at the University, he received the Academic Honours Award and played rugby there.

Josh played club rugby for the Brantford Harlequins and has been with the team since 2011 and on the Executive Committee since 2013.

Josh played with the then Ontario Arrows during their 2018 exhibition season and played for the Ontario Blues in 2018.

Josh is a key contributor for the set pieces for the Arrows and will be a key contributor for the Toronto Arrows in the 2019 Major league Rugby season. He also is joined on the team by his twin brother Tom.
