USA Rugby Men’s Eagles November Schedule
The U.S. Men’s Eagles, ranked 15th in the world, will face the 17th ranked Romania in Bucharest on November 17. It will be the first time in more than 2 years that the team has met the Oaks.
Initially, the Eagles will open their November schedule in Chicago against the Maori All Blacks on November 3 as part of The Rugby Weekend triple-header. The Eagles will travel to Europe for their first Fall test with an opponent to be announced later, then face Romania and close out their tour with 2nd ranked Ireland on November 24.
The last time the teams met, Romania defeated the United States 33-10 in Bucharest. Still, the U.S. has an overall 3-2 record against the Oaks. The U.S. is also undefeated with an 8-0 record going into the November matches as they prepare for the Rugby World Cup 2019 in Japan.
At this time it is unknown about the venue and the kickoff time for the Eagles match against Romania. For the match against the Maori All Blacks at Soldier Field in Chicago, A kick time and match venue for the Eagles’ contest with Romania will be confirmed closer to date. We welcome this challenge as we strive to improve our performance heading into a World Cup year.”
