USA Rugby South vs. the Czech Republic

USA Rugby South concludes their Central European tour on September 1 against the Czech Republic National team at the Rugby Club Mountfield Říčany. The match will kickoff at 2 pm local time (8 am ET).

In the previous two matches, the USA Rugby South defeated the 68th ranked Hungarian National team 35-12 on August 26 and the 75th ranked Austria National team 51-0 on August 29 in Vienna.

The match against the 32nd ranked the Czech Republic will be the team’s greatest challenge on the tour. Playing three matches within a week is challenging, especially against a team ranked above them to conclude the tour. According to Rugby Redefined the USA Rugby South is unofficially ranked 49th in the world.

USA Rugby South Assists Youth Rugby

Having the opportunity to play international teams and to experience the culture of new places is an experience that will be remembered and cherished. Rugby is a sport where those involved appreciate the need to foster the sport. USA Rugby South has helped coach youth rugby while on tour. That helps the game grow and contributes exposing the youth to the rugby values that may be maintained throughout life.
