USA Rugby South Panthers Europe Tour
The USA Rugby South Panthers Men’s XV are touring Eastern Europe to play Hungary, Austria, and the Czech Republic in August and September.
The Panthers compete in the Rugby Americas North Championships for both 15s and 7s. They also field Under-19s sides for men and for women.
On August 25, 31 players and 6 coaches plus other management and medical personnel will travel to Budapest, Hungary for a training session prior to the next day match against the national team of Hungary at Városi Szabadidő Központ – Sportközpont.
In addition to the match against Hungary, the nine-day tour will include games in Vienna, Austria, and Prague, Czechia against the national teams of those Unions. The tour has taken eight months of planning and will provide high-performance opportunities for athletes that are part of the squad.
