Emil Walton, University of Louisville Rugby Head Coach announced that Dr. Euan Murray has joined the Cardinal coaching unit for the 2018-2019 season. He will be working closely with the front row and the team is extremely happy to have him on the squad.
Euan is a Scotish International Prop with 66 caps. He started his career with Glasgow Warriors before playing for a number of clubs including Northampton Saints, Newcastle Falcons, and Worcester Warriors. He was also part of the record-breaking 2007 6 Nations squad and was selected to represent the British and Irish Lions in 2009.
Euan has retired from professional rugby after finishing his playing career at PAU in the French Top 14. He is currently pursuing and furthering his career as a veterinarian and will be working at Blue Pearl Animal Hospital here in Louisville. He will be residing in our friendly city for the next 12 months with his lovely wife Sarah, and their 4 kids.
