USA Rugby South Panthers vs. Trinidad & Tobago
The USA Rugby South Panthers will travel to Port of Spain, Trinidad for the second leg of the Rugby America’s North Men’s 15s Championship against Trinidad & Tobago. The Panthers opened their defense of the title against Bermuda on May 12, winning 48-28, while Trinidad & Tobago beat Bermuda the following week on May 19, 27-24.
In other Championship matches the Cayman Islands defeated Bermuda 20-19 om June 9. After June 16, the Panthers will host the Cayman Islands on July 7.
USA Rugby South Panthers Head Coach Rene Daniel has announced its squad to face Trinidad & Tobago. The team will leave Thursday night for Trinidad, practice on Friday and play the match on Saturday. The team has several members making their international debut with the team in Alex Winters, Ian Lehn, Jason Paul, Kiel McAuley, Matthew Coore and Sean White. Both Michael Martinez and Patrick Audino debuted against Bermuda in May. Heim Erasmus will captain the team.
