Austin Elite Rugby & Dylan Goulding

Austin Elite Rugby has added 24-year-old, 6’3″, 230lb. back row, Dylan Goulding for the inaugural 2018 Major League Rugby season.

Goulding was born in New York City, but his family moved throughout his childhood, living in Argentina, Thailand, Taiwan, and in Singapore. While in Singapore, he attended the Singapore American School, playing for the SAS Eagles and graduating in 2012.

Goulding then pursued his collegiate education at Clemson University, attending from 2012-2017. He graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management and again in 2017 with a second Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship / Entrepreneurial Studies.

At Clemson, he was a center of the rugby team and captained the team. Clemson played in the D1A Mid-South Conference and also was a member of the Varsity Cup. Goulding also used his expertise to organize the team’s philanthropic events: Homes for Hope, and Scrum for the Cure Tournament.

In 2017 Goulding moved to Austin, Texas and played with the Austin Blacks at No. 8. He has been training with Austin Elite Rugby and is anxious to begin the Major League Rugby season.
