USA Rugby South U19 Panthers

This is a USA Rugby South Panthers U19 team release by Dana Sommer Catron.

The USA Rugby South U19 Panthers begin their high school All-Star player camps and try-outs next weekend in Brentwood, TN for boys and Lexington, TN for girls. The goal of these camps is to select and pool players for participation in the invitational USA Sevens Rugby tournament in Las Vegas, NV next March, the prestigious North American High School 7’s championship series, which includes events in Philadelphia, PA in June and Salt Lake City, UT in August, and the Rugby Americas North Championships in July.
New players are welcome to try out for our All-Star squads by participating in the below-listed training camps with existing players. The more sessions attended the better chance of team selection.

Players must be current with USA Rugby CIPP Player Registration requirements and complete the USA Rugby South Player Form and submit a $35 registration fee via

During camps, participants must wear a numbered jersey, rugby shorts, and cleats. They should also have a mouthpiece, their own tape and/or braces if needed, and plenty of water and snacks.
