This is a National Small College Rugby Organization (NSCRO) Release about Jeremy Treece.
“NSCRO is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeremy Treece as its first Director of Rugby Development. In this role, Jeremy will be providing guidance, education, and direction for small college coaches and players. Jeremy is also leading the creation of the inaugural NSCRO Men’s All-Star Championship set for June 22-24 in Austin, Texas at the home of the Austin Elite Major League Rugby team.
Jeremy is well-known in NSCRO circles as the former head coach of New England College resurrecting their dormant program in 2011 and leading them in 2013-2015 to an unprecedented NSCRO record 6 straight national final fours at the time, 4 straight national finals appearances and two national championships in both 7’s (2014) and 15’s (2015).
Jeremy is also the founder of the Franciscan University rugby program which he started in 2000. Jeremy was inducted into the Franciscan University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2014 and Co-founder of the American Rugby Coaches Association (ARCA) whose mission is to educate coaches and advance the game of rugby around the US.
