The Binghamton Barbarians Rugby Football Club is excited to announce that the 28th annual Roadkill 7’s tournament will be held on June 17, 2017. This tournament is the first stop of the upstate division of the Empire GU Summer 7’s Series. The tournament will be held at our home fields at Otsiningo Park in Binghamton, NY.
We would like to extend an invitation to every club and all teams, to come on out and compete. We plan to build on the success of previous years’ tournaments by expanding the field of competition and adding additional divisions of play. There will be six divisions in total with the following levels of play: Empire Series Men (club), Empire Series Women (club) Senior Men (social), Senior Woman (social), Empire Series Boys (high school) and Empire Series Girls (high school).
Please let us know as soon as possible if you are interested in entering a side as teams will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Entry fees for Club and Social Divisions is $200 per team. A second side may be added for a discounted rate of $175. Entry fees for High School teams is $150 per team. All entry fees increase by $50 if received after June 1st.
Trophies will be awarded to the Cup, Bowl and Plate and Shield finishers for each division. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of at least three games.
