Another player we have welcomed me do to our Tiger Family and he will be a part of or family forever is Matt Hughston. Matt work ethic and commitment to striving for the highest level is never in question.

“My experience with Tiger Rugby has been a bit different as I knew Tiger Rugby as a fierce opponent for years. After giving Tiger Rugby some hard fought battles, I grew to respect the style of ball they were producing and soon got invited to a Tiger Tour when they expanded into the South. Being a rugby player located in a remote location, far away from high level rugby in the USA, the South bring huge hurdles such as consistent high level of competition and big time opportunities to showcase your talent. The coaching staff, Paul, Nese, James gave me my chance in Halloween Sevens and it has slingshot my rugby career to new levels.

The coaching detail, high level skill expectations and the “open door” environment the coaches provide players is unmatched. From rugby advice to personal life guidance, Tiger has change my rugby career and life for the best.

Since joining Tiger Rugby I have earned a Pro Rugby contract and selected for a USA Falcons tour that lead to time in the Olympic Training Center Chula Vista with Team USA Eagles 7s. My story isn’t finished and I am looking to accomplish bigger things in the future with the Tiger family.”
