Titans Tame Marist to Win Hawaii Rugby Championship

The Hawaii Rugby Union Championship was won Saturday, April 29, as the Titans Rugby Club defeated the regular season leaders, Marist Hawaii 25-19 at Kapiolani Park.
During the regular season, both teams finished with 9-1 records and split their head to head matches. Marist was awarded first place over the Titans based on head to head point differential.
The Titans narrowly beat Marist earlier in April and the Championship went right down to the wire as the Titans won the Aloha Cup.
In the Bronze match, the Tiberwolves defeated the Kalihi Raiders 28-27. The Timberwolves and Raiders split their regular season matches with the Raiders earning third based on head to head point differential.
