The Mid-Atlantic Conference Rugby Men’s D1-3 Playoffs

The 2017 Men’s MAC D1, D2 and D3 Championships will take place on May 6th and will be hosted by Richmond Lions at Dorey Park, 2999 Darbytown Rd, Henrico, VA 23231
The Division 1 semi-finals will begin on Saturday, April 29 as Rocky Gorge hosts the Norfolk Blues and Schuylkill River hosts the Pittsburgh Harlequins. The winners will meet in the Championship on May 6. The Champion will then move to USA Rugby Round 8/4 in Pittsburgh, PA on May 20-21.
The Division II semi-finals will also begin on Saturday, April 29, as Philadelphia-Whitemarsh hosts Northern Virginia and the Washington Irish) host Old Gaelic. The winners will meet in the Championship on May 6. The Champion will then move to USA Rugby Round 8/4 in Pittsburgh, PA on May 20-21.
The Division III playoffs began on April 1, 8 and 15 to determine playoff seeds. On April 22 the Quarterfinals occurred with North Bay beating South Jersey 11-8, Lehigh Valley Hooligans beat Western Suburbs 32-12, Blackthorn won 16-12 against Blacksburg and James River won 45-7 over the Washington Renegades. This set up semi-final matches with North Bay facing Blackthorn and Lehigh Valley Hooligans hosting James River. The winners will meet in the Championship on May 6. The Champion will then move to USA Rugby Round 8/4 in Pittsburgh, PA on May 20-21.
