Midwest -West Regional Men’s Rugby DIII Playoffs

The Bremer County Bucks are hosting the West side of the Midwest Regional Playoffs in Waverly, Iowa on April 29-30. The Midwest West Region is comprised of the Chicago-Wisconsin: North, South & West, as well as Iowa.

The teams competing are the first place teams in their league. They are Bremer County Bucks, Wisconsin D3, Chicago Riot and Oconomowac. The Bremer County Bucks had a 6-0 Iowa League record and play Wisconsin Rugby D3, who were 7-1 and had 36 points to the second place team, Northwest Woodsmen, who also had a 7-1 record, but had 35 points. The other match has the 7-0 Chicago Riot playing the 7-1 Oconomowoc Rugby.

The Winners will play for the Championship on Sunday, while the losers will play for third. The winner of the Midwest West Region will then meet the Midwest East Region Champion.

There will also be a D4 rugby friendly match between Iowa rivals Bremer County and River City.

Schedule for Saturday:
-12pm Bremer County vs Wisconsin Rugby D3
-2pm Chicago Riot vs Oconomowac
-4pm (D4 friendly) Bremer County vs River City

Sunday:
-12pm 3rd place match
-2pm 1st place match
