Working with FloSports helps show that the Huns are a leader in the sport of rugby and are committed to bringing the game to fans beyond the stadium. Now, fans of rugby and the Austin Huns will be able to watch the remaining matches of their impressive 2017 season at home or on the go. “We are very excited to partner with FloSports, and are pleased at their willingness to invest in marketing and the growth of rugby in the US and around the world, ” says Austin Huns Owner Richard Osborn.

“Even though we are a traditional sport, our core audience is millennials, and we need to keep up with their viewing needs and habits,” says Austin Huns General Manager Thierry Daupin. “Joining forces with FloSports and FloRugby puts us two steps in front of the competition, and now we will not only be available streaming online, also on Roku and Apple TV. We need to think about where we will be in 5, 10 years and make sure that we can be not only the early adopter of today, but the leader of tomorrow. Ninety-nine percent of our fans are outside of the stadium, and we need to provide them with the best options to stay connected with us.”

“Partnering with the Austin Huns is a great first step for FloRugby,” FloSports SVP of Global Rights Acquisition and Subscription Phil Wendler said. “We’re excited to deliver Huns’ Rugby live across the globe as we move forward to unlock a world of unmatched coverage created for die-hard rugby fans.”
