Gumbert & Tucker Return to Coach USA Wheelchair Rugby in 2017

Lakeshore Foundation, the High Performance Management Organization (HPMO) for USA Wheelchair Rugby has announced that James Gumbert (Cedar Park, TX) will return as the Head Coach for the program in 2017.  Gumbert is in his 11th year as the head coach and will be joined by Sue Tucker (St. Louis, MO) who is returning for her 5th year with the program.

Assistant Coach Andy Cohn and Strength and Conditioning Coach Steve Pate have decided not be considered for coaching positions moving forward.  They both have contributed to the success of the program.  Information about staff openings and the application process will be posted on www.usawr.org in the near future.

USA Wheelchair Rugby is currently holding  the 2017 National Team selection camp January 4-8th at Lakeshore Foundation in Birmingham, AL.  The 2017 team will be announced on Sunday, January 8th.  For more information contact Jen Remick at jenr@lakeshore.org or 205.313.7417.
