Worcester Warriors Release

Worcester Valkyries’ Rochelle Clark, Laura Keates and Lydia Thompson are all named in the England Women starting line-up to face Canada at Twickenham on Saturday (kick-off 5.05pm).

Head Coach Simon Middleton has made six changes to his starting 15 for England Women’s final Old Mutual Wealth Series match following wins over France and Ireland before defeat to New Zealand last weekend.

Broadcast live on Sky Sports and BBC 5 Live Sports Extra, this fourth autumn Test provides the Red Roses with the opportunity to finish the series with victory.

Middleton said: “Since last weekend we have reflected, regrouped and worked hard to address the aspects which didn’t go our way. We want to end the Old Mutual Wealth Series with a win and know Canada will do their best to prevent that.

“It is always great to follow the men out and play at Twickenham, and we look forward to strong support from the home crowd.”

Since England’s 2014 Women’s World Cup Final win over Canada, the two sides have met twice with one win each. England secured a tight 15-14 victory in Edmonton in July 2015 before meeting again in this summer’s Super Series in Salt Lake City where the Canadians took a convincing 52-17 win.
