Austin Huns Hire Steve Robinson as Amateur Coach

The Austin Huns are pleased to announce the hiring of Steve Robinson as the Head Coach of the Amateur side.
Steve recently moved from Australia. He has helped the Westlake High School Rugby Club to three consecutive Texas State Championship as Assistant Coach. Previously he held the Junior Head coaching role at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland for a number of years after having played extensive senior rugby both in Australia and abroad in the United Kingdom.
“We are delighted to have the coaching services of Steve. Besides his great character, he has a passion for the game and good knowledge thereof. He will work closely with our coaching team and add value to our amateur teams.” said Austin Huns Head Coach Eugene Eloff.
Steve has over two decades of rugby experience. He a player he competed with Marist Brother College in Brisbane, Australia, University of New England, and Madison Knights (United Kingdom). As a coach, he has developed the University Sunshine Coast Rugby Club senior grade and junior teams (U19, U11, U12, and U13).
We welcome Steve to the club and look forward to a successful season ahead.
