Southern Rugby Conference Week Two
Week two of the Southern Conference season is in the books with some exciting new scores. All but one team, Coastal Carolina, has made their season debut and started their path to or from the eventual Conference Finals in November. With the recent shift in conference divisions, some new competitors are getting the opportunity to face each other and prove who the top dogs are.
Week 2 was highlighted by a defeat of East Carolina University by The Citadel, 27-26. The Citadel would dot down first before alternating scores with the Pirates, but eventually pulled off the win for what we would consider an upset. East Carolina lost in the Conference Semi-Finals last season after boasting an undefeated matrix regular-season in the Western Division. Our scores from week two are below:
